I am very interested in difference between what we choose to share with the world to see and what we choose to hide. One of the things we tend to hide is our trash and consumption. Tucked away discreetly under our kitchen sinks, or in camouflaged trash bin drawers, we tend to dispose of our excess packaging and garbage as quickly as it arrives. There are 5 phases in my project. Consumption, stockage, documentation, confrontation and finally presentation. In the final phase of presentation I will present my waste just the same way I would present my vacation photos, via social media. Also though we are proud of the contents we consume, a different sentiment is held when it comes to the packaging it arrives in. We are certainly not proud of the amounts of plastic packaging, and containers which fill our lives daily.
